Dear friends and ministry partners,

In spite of personal difficulties due to Sol’s ongoing health issues, we praise God for His strength, His presence, and His support that we have experienced through the body of Christ. It’s been a difficult season and I cannot imagine what we would do without Jesus being at the center of our life. Praise God because in our weakness, He is strong in us.

Buiam Village

Last September, God opened an opportunity for Shared Blessings to support Pastor Seiko Sajo through a radio ministry he started a few years ago in the village of Buiam. Because of a lack of funding, the radio ministry was threatened to end, but we partnered with him before that could happen. Pastor Seiko continues his radio ministry in a local dialect that reaches many villages and communities. He said the Muslims are very curious and open to hear the Gospel and they ask him questions after listening to him on the radio.

Pastor Seiko is married with three children and has started multiple house groups where he leads Bible studies and prayer. Recently, he had the opportunity to show the Jesus movie in his village and over 400 people were in attendance. Please pray for the hearts of people to be open and the Holy Spirit to minister the love of God to them in a supernatural way!

Youna Village

Shared Blessings has been supporting Pastor Robert and Anna for four years so he is able to do full-time ministry in their home village. They were living in the city where Anna worked as a middle school teacher and traveled to the village a few times a week for church services and midweek Bible studies. Over a year ago, they expressed their deep desire to live closer to the church so they could both be fully involved in ministry. They had planned to build a mud block house, but we asked them to pray for God’s provision for a house they would not have to worry about collapsing during the rainy seasons.

God is so good and because of your faithfulness and generosity, we were able to build a beautiful house for them next to their church. Robert had donated part of his land he inherited to build the church and their house is right next to the church. They moved in August and are now able to minister to the villages every day. Since they moved, Anna leads worship and the women’s ministry. The church has experienced growth with a few more families joining services.

Not only is the church growing, but God has blessed Pastor Robert and Anna with a baby boy in December. Thank you for your prayers during Anna’s delivery when baby John was in the hospital last month. By the grace of God, he is well and thriving. He is a miracle baby as they struggled having more children after they had Timothy five years ago. God has been using Pastor Robert and Anna to reach a group of people who call themselves Christians, but worship ancestors, practice witchcraft, and participate in animal sacrifices.

Please pray for Pastor Robert and Anna as the spiritual darkness is very real—Robert shared with us the spiritual warfare is almost tangible as you walk through the village around 11:00 am until 3:00 pm. Some of the witches told Robert they know who the born again believers are because they can see a circle of fire around the believers. Praise God for His protection! Praise God He is fighting this spiritual battle that is very real! Please cover them and their children in prayers—they are really on the frontlines of a breakthrough in the fight for a nation.

Ministry growth in the city area

Ever since Janet and Beram joined the school staff, they are excited about having more time to read the Bible and study as well as the opportunities they have to minister to the 350 children at the school. Janet and Beram are doing an amazing job at the Sunday School program and are growing in their vision to reach the lost. They started a couple of Bible study groups in two locations in the city and the openness of the people is just amazing to see! Both Muslims and Christians alike go to the meetings to hear the Word of God being preached and because of the considerable size of the meetings, we will be providing chairs and Bibles available for them to use.

God is growing and strengthening the ministry of Shared Blessings in our absence. It is the Holy Spirit that is doing the work in the hearts of people and because of your faithfulness, we are able to equip and empower the locals with the tools they need to do the work that Jesus commissioned us to do: preach the Gospel, heal the sick, and cast out demons! Praise God!

Thank you for your prayers, your faithfulness, and support. We could not do what we do without you. May God bless each and every one of you above and beyond anything you can ask or imagine!

Blessings,

Sol and Manuela Bah
